Crowcon T4-HOCL Handheld Gas Detector for Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, Oxygen Detection, Audible Alarm, ATEX

Crowcon T4 portable multigas detectors are intrinsically safe, hazardous area certified, for use in harsh environments. They offer compliance, robustness and low cost ownership in a simple-to-use solution. The large single button allows operation while wearing gloves. The intuitive menu minimises training time. Features include drop testing to 4 m, an integral rubber boot and protection from water ingress to IP65 and IP67.

T4 has a unique TWA Resume function. It ensures time weighted average (TWA) toxic gas exposure is calculated accurately over an entire shift, even if the instrument is switched off for a break or during travel between sites. Positive safety LEDs illuminate green (for compliant) or red (if battery low, bump test required, calibration due, T4 in gas alarm or T4 instrument fault).

T4 detects up to four gas types, depending on choice of model:
oxygen depletion and flammable gases detection model T4-ZOZA/RS (122-5524 )
oxygen depletion, flammable gases, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide detection model T4-HOCA/RS (122-5520)

T4 includes improved detection of pentane and long chain hydrocarbons.
