Eaton Bussmann Series - SAFEloc Range

The SAFEloc range of fuse holders are designed to accommodate the compact range of offset blade fuses. The fuse holders include a unique snap/slide action fuse carrier which removes the need for fuse carrier contacts. Fitting the fuse into the holder locks the fuse into position in the base, providing safe insertion and removal. As this fuse holder has direct contact between the fuse blades and the plated base contacts means these fuse holders are more reliable and have a lower watt loss.

The fuse base is made of glass-filled thermoplastic polyester which is high impact resistant. The fuse base contacts are fully shrouded to provide circuit protection and protection from electrical discharge and shock. The shrouds are manufactured with the same snap/slide action to allow access to the contact terminal screws which are semi-captive to reduce the risk of loss during installation.

The fuse holders cable termination screws have a recommended tightening torque of 2.5 - 2.8 Newton meters, it is important that these are screwed in tightly and are holding the cable firmly in place to avoid heat build-up.

This range of fuse holders are dual mounting and are compatible with both panel mount, consisting of a single screw fixing, and DIN rail mount consisting of direct mounting to a 35 mm DIN rail.

SAFEloc fuse holders provide an easy method of protecting a wide range of appliances and electrical equipment such as lighting, heating, motor and control equipment circuits, and offer significant savings on volume, cost, fitting time and power loss.
