Sensata Cynergy3 Vertical Float Switch, 1A, 1m Cable Length - RSF50 Series - RSF58H100JC

This float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 helps you monitor liquid levels inside your industrial tanks. It's conventionally used to prevent overflows when filling up a tank, or for detecting when liquid levels are low and your tank needs refilling. The switch has normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) output options to give you flexibility in the layout of your electrical circuit. It's a vertical float switch that mounts to the top or bottom of the tank, which makes it useful in applications where the side is inaccessible. This type of switch is commonly used in the automotive and beverage production industries.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +100°C for use with cold and hot liquids
• Ample cable length of 1m for a flexible connection
• PP (polypropylene) body material is resistant to abrasion and wear for long-lasting performance
• Maximum current capacity of 1A for energy efficiency

How does this switch open and close?

This switch opens and closes using the magnet inside the float component. Whenever the float gets near the reed, the force of the magnet opens or closes the switch to respond to the change in levels.
