RS PRO Flange Mounting Float Switch, Aluminium (Enclosure), SS 316L (Float), SPDT, Float, 250 V, 30 V
Need to switch between two circuits when water in a tank reaches a certain level? This single-pole, double-throw float switch from RS PRO can be used to activate an alarm, pump or another kind of circuit. The design features a pivoted float arm with a magnet on the inboard end. When the float arm rises, its magnet interacts with another magnet in the enclosure and switches instantaneously using the snap-action mechanism.
The switch is housed in an aluminium enclosure that's both corrosion-resistant and lightweight. The float is made from high-strength, low-maintenance austenitic stainless steel. As it can be used at temperatures up to +130°C and pressures up to 19 bar, it's well-suited to a variety of challenging industrial environments. You can fix it securely in place using a flange mount.
