The KEMET R4Y series consist of a metallized polypropylene film EMI suppression capacitor that is encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin. The capacitor has tinned wire leads and non-inductive type winding. This capacitors are suitable for use in situations where failure of the capacitor could lead to danger of electric shock.
