Rittal Chemical Fibre Fan Filter Mat, 173mm Length, 17mm Thickness - 3171100

Remove dust particles from your fan exhausts with this filter mat from Rittal. This component is a replacement part for fans in Rittal's 3239 range. It's made of chopped chemical fibre, which has excellent absorption qualities for efficiently blocking out contaminants. It resists dust and coarse particles such as sawdust and sand for promoting good air quality in harsh industrial environments. The filter mat is also self-extinguishing, so it prevents flames from spreading in the event of a fire for added safety.

Features & Benefits

• Resists temperatures of up to +100°C for use in hot industrial settings
• High air throughput range of 105m³/h (cubic metres per hour) to 120m³/h for optimal air circulation
• Dust-laden open side for efficient absorption of contaminants
• Clean-air closed side to prevent contaminants from escaping into the air

Applications

• High and low-pressure air compressors
• Electrical control panels
• Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems

How do I clean this filter mat?

You can clean this filter mat by simply blowing out the dust from the clean side with an industrial blower or vacuum cleaner. You should be sure to replace the filter mat when it gets too dusty.
