The product can be snapped onto the back of your RJ45 data plugs before installation for a neat and durable solution when you're connecting computers to Ethernet-based local area networks (LAN). It will prolong the life of your cables with minimal effort, as it prevents excess strain on the cable clamp.

The product measures 27.7 mm long by 14.8 mm deep. It covers the latch of the plug, so the fragile parts won't snag on other wires while still operating effectively.

The registered jack (RJ) connector hood will accept standard 4-pair UTP and STP (unshielded and shielded) twisted-pair cables for LAN networks. It's compatible with multi-port socket harmonica blocks.

The hood is RoHS certified so it contains only minimal levels of hazardous substances such as mercury.
