Belden Green Cat6a Ethernet Cable, 100m Length, 4 Pairs - 74011NH.00100

Keep machines communicating effectively in harsh environments with this Ethernet cable from Belden. As it's a Cat6a cable, it supports high-speed data transfer rates up to 10Gbps in Ethernet and PROFINET networks. Its conductors are protected by a bi-laminate shield and a tinned copper braid with at least 85% coverage, helping to minimise crosstalk and interference. The outer jacket is made from low-smoke, zero-halogen material for safety in the event of a fire.

Features & Benefits

• Colour-coded pairs for ease of connection

• Copper wires are highly conductive for efficient data transfer

Applications

• Process control and automation

• Data and communications

• Security cameras

What's the difference between Cat6 and Cat6a cables?

Both cable types support speeds of 10Gbps. Cat6 cables have a maximum bandwidth of 250MHz and work at distances of up to 50m, making them useful for patch connections. Cat6a cables have a 500MHz bandwidth and have extra twists to work over longer distances of up to 100m.
