With this emergency light conversion kit from RS PRO, you can convert fluorescent luminaires without compromising on safety. Failure of the light's unswitched supply will switch the light onto a battery supply. The module and battery packs fit inside most modern fluorescent batten fittings.

With a fused terminal block and pre-cut connection wires included, this kit is suitable for integrating into existing control gear. In addition, the module can be tuned specifically to the lamp, which offers better performance for the cell capacity. It comes with an LED for fitting into the luminaire to indicate battery charge.

The kit has been tested against international standards for safe lamp control gear (EN 61347-2-7), safe luminaires (EN 60598-2-2) and suitability for conversion to emergency lighting (ICEL 1004). It also meets requirements on automatic testing (BS5266-1:2005/IEC62034). This kit can be used for converting luminaires to emergency lighting in premises of all kinds.
