This electric torque screwdriver from the RS PRO range makes tightening or loosening screws quick and easy. Over-tightening screws can damage them, but you can achieve exactly the right degree of tightness with this device by simply selecting the appropriate torque level.
Its variable speed setting from 700 → 1000 rpm gives you precise control and the Swiss-made brushless motor is more reliable and long-lasting than a brushed equivalent. Durability is increased by the soft-start power supply which prevents damage to the motor by controlling electrical current. Mains-powered, this corded screwdriver can keep going until you’re ready to finish and comes with both UK and European plugs.
The drill housing has been stringently tested for electrostatic discharge (ESD) and meets BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 and ANSI/ESD S20.20:201 safety standards. It’s suitable for a range of applications where precision is needed, such as assembly or repair of electronic devices and automotive work.
