Festo Electric Linear Actuator, 100N Maximum Load, 800mm Maximum Stroke Length - ELGS-BS-KF-45-800-10P-ST-M-H1-PLK-AA

Need to automate a simple back-and-forth or press-and-clamp motion? Give the job to this miniature electric linear actuator from Festo. Its spindle axis converts rotational energy from the motor into a smooth, linear movement. A high maximum load of 100N and strong lifting force of 300N make it ideal for a test inspection system or moving small parts. Commissioning is quick and easy using the integrated drive to manually set parameters such as distance, force and speed, so there's no need for any external software.

Features & Benefits

• Weight of 4,234g keeps it firmly in place
• Resilient recirculating ball bearing guide to keep slide on track
• Digital I/O and IO-Link provide flexible communication with the controller
• Integrated end-position sensing ensures a precise distance setting

Applications

• Assembly lines
• Industrial machinery
• Robotics systems
• Packaging industry

How do I power this electric linear actuator?

There are two M12 sockets on top of the drive. To energise the motor, simply plug a 4-pin connector into the one marked 'power'. For control signal, sensor signal and integrated electronics, plug an 8-pin connector into the one marked 'logic'.

How fast can this actuator move?

The actuator has a maximum speed of 250mm/s when unloaded, so you can be sure of speedy responses.
