The Microchip 24AA02E48 series of 2 Kbit EEPROM offers a low-power CMOS technology device which is organized as two blocks of 128 x 8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. The factory programming is available for the device. Along with more than 1 million read/write cycles it provides data retention of over 200 years. Also, ESD Protection of more than 4000 V. The device offers 2-wire serial interface which are I2C compatible. Also, Schmitt trigger inputs for noise suppression. The device offers 100 kHz and 400 kHz clock compatibility and self-timed erase/write cycle.
