RS PRO EPDM Black Edging Strip, 20 m x 51.4 mm x 11 mm
Looking for a lining for container openings to prevent injury from sharp metal edges? This edging strip from our RS PRO range easily fits onto a flat end of a metal sheet or a panel to protect you from getting scratched or cut.
The strip is made from durable (EPDM) ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, so it holds up well to regular movement and abrasion. There's an embedded metal insert that creates additional force to secure the rubber in place. It's easy to install by simply pressing it with your hand thanks to its grooved profile.
This product complies with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directives, so it contains only trace amounts of any harmful materials. A seal like this one acts as a shielding barrier by absorbing vibration to prevent damage and reduce wear on items such as machine and car door panels.
