You can use this dial indicator from RS PRO to take precision measurements in the range of 0 mm to 10 mm. The indicator is accurate to within 0.01 mm.
The indicator features an 80 mm adjustable dial, with hardened and ground racks to enable precise adjustments. It also comes with a bezel lock so you can fix it firmly in place while taking a measurement. The ball anvil touches the object being measured at a single point only, making it ideal for measuring the thickness of rounded surfaces, such as tubes.
The indicator meets the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ESD S20.20:2014 and British Standard (BS) EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards, so you can be sure it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge.
