Change the voltage of a DC power supply from one level to another with this DC-DC converter from RECOM. For safety, and to prevent power surges from damaging equipment, the unit is isolated, with a barrier between its input and output. To handle large start-up currents, it's able to deliver 140% of its rated power of 3W for a short period. Continuous short-circuit protection helps to safeguard against electrical faults. If the device trips there's no need to manually re-set it, thanks to its auto-restart function. A non-conductive casing minimises the risk of electric shocks during handling.
