These FMR Series Metal Hood Backshells have a Large Inner Chamber and an Angled or Straight Twin Cable Outlet. This large amount of internal space is particularly suitable for D-sub connectors with special contacts. The design of the FMR Series Metal Hood Backshell includes twin strain relief on the cable outlet. The FMR Series Metal Hood Backshell is easy to assemble thanks to the catch spring system and pre-mounted locking screws. The FMR Series Metal Hood Backshells can be used with engagement hooks and locking or knurled screws.

Use this D-sub backshell by FCT from Molex to house your non-standard connectors. As it has 25 contacts, it's useful for serial and parallel data communications. The B-sized shell has a twin cable outlet and extra room inside to accommodate special contacts. It includes clamps and a strain relief to protect one or two cables, as well as a spring catch for easy installation.
