RS PRO Solid Core Current Transducers
RS PRO are pleased to introduce a series of solid core current transducers. They are transducers for the electronic measurement of AC sinusoidal waveforms with galvanic isolation between the primary (high power) and the secondary circuit (electronic circuit). Solid core current transducers are commonly found in applications of automation control systems analogy current reading for remote monitoring.
What is a current transducer?
A current transducer is a device that converts the current into a standard electrical signal. It is formed by four parts; sensitive component, conversion circuit, conversion component, and power circuit.
What is the difference between a current transformer and a current transducer?
A current transformer is a power transmission unit and a current transducer is a signal transmission unit.
