Pin and receptacle crimp contacts for use in the Micro-Fit 3.0 mm plug and receptacle housings. These crimp pin and receptacle terminals feature multiple points of contact for a reliable electrical connection and a higher current carrying capacity. Locking tangs on the crimp contacts secure them firmly in the connector housing. The 46235 series crimp contacts are RMF (Reduced Mating Force) contacts which have a reduced engagement and disengagement force for ease of use. This Molex crimp contact makes electrical connections with either PCBs (printed circuit boards) or connectors terminated with wires between 24 and 20AWG (American Wire Gauge). It's a female contact that's designed for use with Micro-Fit 3.0 housings. Multiple contact points create a reliable connection and allow for a high current-carrying capacity. The contact is made from tin-plated phosphor bronze that won't corrode. Low halogen content limits the danger of toxic gas emission in the event of a fire or excess heat.
