Kopex Conduit, PVC Covering, 45mm Minimum Bend Radius - PSBF Series - 7TCA297020R0316 PSBF0510

Are your cables exposed to the elements? Give them some protection with this flexible conduit from Kopex. Made with galvanised steel and a Kraft paper core, it's pliable to a minimum bend radius of 45mm. This makes it easy to shape and fit around obstacles so, you'll have no trouble safeguarding wiring installations which are routed through awkward spaces. A PVC cover gives the conduit a weatherproof coat and UV resistance, meaning it's handy for indoor and outdoor use. Once connected, your conduit is protected to an IP67 rating. This ensures it's dust-tight and suitable for temporary immersion in water.

Features & Benefits

• Operating temperature range between -20°C and +105°C, for use in manufacturing environments
• Flame retardancy means vertical burning stops inside 10 seconds
• Tested to make sure it withstands 20J impacts at +23°C without cracking

Applications

• Offshore and marine settings
• Construction industry
• Building infrastructure
• Food and beverage manufacture

Can I use this conduit in environments where chemicals are present?

The conduit's rugged construction means it's resistant to commonly used chemicals. This includes petrol and transformer oil, as well as citric acid and vegetable oil.

EMI Screened

In line with European Directives all equipment/installations should neither produce electromagnetic interference (EMI) or be affected by it. Cables in such cases should have an effective screen to protect against the effects of EMI. These conduits can contribute significantly to the EMI screen requirements of installations covered by the EMC Directive.
