UMFT51AA Dual Inline Development Module, FTDI Chip
The FTDI Chip UMFT51AA Development Module for the FT51AQ Microcontrollers which feature integrated USB bridging. It is designed to plug into a standard 0.6 wide 40-pin DIP socket. The UMFT51AA is built using an FT51AQ (RS 917-0704) and many of its features can be utilised with this module.
The FTDI Chip FT51A series of MCU include: USB client and USB hub interfaces, 8051 core, 8-bit ADC, UART, SPI, I2C, 245 FIFO and PWM.
PCB module fits a standard 15.24 mm (0.6) wide 40-pin DIP socket. Pins are on a 2.54 mm (0.1) pitch. It is a drop in replacement for an 8051 microcontroller.
USB socket enables you to connect it to a PC. It is also capable of cascading several modules using the USB hub feature.
