The Microchip MCP25625 CAN PICtail Plus is a daughter board with which a Controller Area Network (CAN) node can be developed. The featured Microchip MCP25625 is a CAN 2.0B Controller with an integrated CAN Transceiver and SPI interface.
The board interfaces with PIC development boards that feature a PICtail Plus connector, such as the Explorer 16 (DM240001). Alternatively the on-board PICkit Serial Connector can be used to interface with a PIC MCU through connection to a PICkit Serial Analyser (DV164122).
