RS PRO Aluminium Housed Wire Wound Panel Mount Resistor, 100 mΩ ±5% 300 W


This resistor from RS PRO adds 100 Ω of resistance to your circuit, so you can limit the flow of electricity when needed and prevent damage to sensitive circuitry. You'll find it in many industrial settings, from manufacturing plants to building yards.
This resistor is wire-wound to ensure it's powerful for its small size and suitable for installing in small spaces. You can easily heat sink mount it onto flat surfaces using a thermal compound or attach it with screws using the pre-drilled holes. The aluminium-housed component encourages heat loss and cooling, thanks to its low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR). This helps to maintain a consistent resistance over a wide temperature range.
This part is tested to meet International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 115 safety standards. The component is often used in large production machinery, load testing simulations and motor start-stop cycles.
