RS PRO Aluminium Housed Axial Wire Wound High Power Resistor, 47 Ω ±5% 200 W


Limit the flow of electricity in your circuit with this RS PRO aluminium-housed resistor. It's capable of adding 47 Ω of resistance to your set-up and is often used in applications where it's necessary to decrease power and generate low noise.
The axial resistor is wire-wound, giving it a compact size for its power rating and ensuring it fits into a variety of spaces. You can directly heat sink mount it onto flat surfaces with a thermal compound or use the pre-drilled screw terminals, so you have plenty of ways to configure your circuits.
This part is certified to meet international safety standards, thanks to its 115 International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) rating. It also meets the 18546 United States Military Standard (MIL) for wire-wound resistor safety. It's widely used in situations involving large amounts of power, such as dynamic braking systems and load testing simulation.
