Dual-Element, Time Delay Fuses, Class J - 600Volt

Class J fuse
True Dual element fuses with minimum 10 second time delay at 500% overload
Dual element construction reduces power loss and gives cooler running
High breaking capacity: 300kA
Voltage rating 600Vac
High degree of current limitation due to fast speed of response to short circuits
Unique dimensions ensure that a different fuse cannot be substituted

Eaton Cartridge Fuse, 50A, 600V AC / 300V DC LPJ-50SP

Protect high-capacity systems from both overloads and short circuits with this cartridge fuse from Eaton . A dual element inside the fuse provides a high level of protection from these common electrical faults. This construction has the added advantage of minimising power loss and allowing cooler operation for greater efficiency. It has a T fuse speed to give a 10-second time delay before breaking. This slow-acting function means it's unlikely to blow when temporary overloads and surges occur, cutting down nuisance tripping and reducing the need for frequent fuse replacement.

• High breaking capacity (HBC) of up to 300,000A means it deals with high and low current faults for all-round protection
• Unique cartridge size of 60 (length) and 25mm (width) prevents incorrect fuse replacement for increased safety
• Voltage rating of 600V AC and current rating of 50A to work with industrial power distribution applications

What's the main advantage of a slow-acting cartridge fuse?

Slow-acting fuses are helpful in industrial circuits where the starting of motors and devices can cause brief power fluctuations.
