RS PRO Coated Stainless Steel Roller Ball Cable Ties
These RS PRO stainless steel cable ties are a type of fastener used for holding items together, most commonly electrical cables or wires. They are an ideal alternative where nylon ties are not suitable such as harsh environments or places where there is heat. These cable ties have a roller ball design which is self-locking and fast and easy to install. Rollerball ties have a locking ball bearing which grips the tie strap and locks the tie as it is tensioned ideal for securing cabling.
Manufactured from stainless steel, these ties have excellent resistance to abrasion, corrosion, radiation, weathering and extremes of temperature. They have a greater load carrying capacity and may be used for general strapping applications. With the RS PRO wide range, there are a variety of sizes and lengths to suit all your requirements in both black and metallic.

FAQs
Why use stainless steel cable ties?
Cable ties manufactured from stainless steel are great for low and high voltage cable management. They are ideal for applications in extreme conditions where strength, vibration, radiation, weathering, corrosion and temperature extremes are a factor. They are also fireproof due to the high melting point of stainless steel.
What are the different types of cable tie?
There are many different types of cable tie, including heavy-duty metal ties, plastic ties, and Velcro cable ties in the form of a Velcro strap. Below are some of the main types:
• Standard
• Releasable
• Mounted head
• Push mount
• Self-adhesive
• Double-headed
• Stainless steel
• Reusable
