RS PRO PTFE Cable Sleeving

From RS PRO a range of high-quality PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) flexible cable sleeving or cable tubing designed to protect your wiring system when it is used in most demanding of environments. This cable sleeving has excellent thermal and electrical properties, it can withstand high temperatures of up to 250°C and, with its high dielectric strength offers protection to your cable from high radio frequencies. PTFE sleeving also has excellent resistance to oils, acids and fuels. PTFE is the cable sleeve of choice when it is essential that your application performs reliably in the most extreme environmental, electrical, chemical and mechanical conditions. The sleeving is easy to apply, simply cut the sleeve to the length you require and route your wire through the inside.

Where is PTFE Cable Sleeving Used?

This PTFE cable sleeving is used for providing cable protection where your cables or wires are being used in demanding or harsh conditions. This cable sleeve is particularly suitable for applications that require high levels of thermal and chemical resistance. The anti-stick properties of this tubing make it ideal for use in applications where there is limited space or where the fit is tight allowing the cables to slide smoothly into place without any damage. This sleeving is used in commercial, industrial, medical and high-performance Military and Aerospace industries in computer applications, electrical equipment & instrumentation.

This product is Compliant with ROHS 2002/95/EC the Restriction of use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The product adheres to AMS 3655A.
