It's made from polyamide with glass fibre reinforcement, so it's a thermally-stable unit that's strong and resistant to wear, chemicals and impact. With the addition of an O-ring, it gives you an IP68 rating. This means it's dust-tight and suitable for immersion in water up to three meters deep.
