Need to cover unused cable holes in panels and junction boxes? Keep contaminants out with this handy blanking plug from LAPP. It screws onto pre-drilled holes, so installation is quick and easy. The PG9 thread size means it's compatible with standard entry points on equipment. A slotted groove in the top makes it easy to tighten securely and remove with just a screwdriver.

What's the IP rating of this cable gland plug?
This cable gland plug has an IP54 rating, so it protects against dust and splashes of water. Use it with an O-ring (664-4603) to increase this ingress protection to an IP68 rating.
Lapp Brass Blanking Plug - PG
From Lapp, these blanking plugs are used to close over pre-drilled threaded bore holes. If a cable opening in a panel, junction box or machine housing has become redundant, these blanking plugs can be used to seal the bore hole, and have a simple screw-on action.
They feature a robust nickel plated brass construction, and have a good degree of resistance against corrosion and temperature for a low-maintenance cable management solution.
Ensuring a low level of environmental resistance (or higher when coupled with an o-ring) these blind plugs have far more use than the merely aesthetic, and can help protect wiring and machinery components.
