The Bluegiga BLE112-A-v1 is a Bluetooth low energy single mode module that is integrated with a chip antenna and software version 1.0. It is a single mode Bluetooth device targeted for low power sensors and accessories such as Watches, Key fobs, Heart rate sensors and many more and can be powered easily using a 3V coin cell batteries or pair of AAA batteries.

No external processor is needed when using the BLE112 as it comes with low energy features: radio, stack, profiles and application space for customer applications.
