RS PRO Timing Belt Pulley, Glass Filled PC 6 mm Belt Width x 2.032 mm Pitch, 30 Tooth
This plastic pulley from RS PRO is ideal for the precise linkage of shafts on vehicle timing belts (also called camshafts). It has 30 teeth that ensure the pulley is firmly attached to the belt without slipping off track, leading to precise, timed and synchronised rotation.
This pulley is made from glass-filled polycarbonate (PC) material, a type of plastic that's virtually indestructible to give you a durable component that stands the test of time. Plus, polycarbonate contains no metal, so it won't ever rust. This means reduced maintenance costs and no need to lubricate parts. The belt also has low friction, which makes for reduced noise and wear of belts, with an extended belt life as a result.
These pulleys from RS PRO are designed to be used with MXL miniature belts. They're commonly used in motion control systems, for example in industrial automation.
