SICK CCD Barcode Scanner

The IDM series of mobile handheld scanners are designed for industrial applications, offering a reading distance ranging from 20 mm to 850 mm for 1D codes. Featuring a cable connection variant, these scanners support various communication interfaces including Ethernet, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Serial, PROFIBUS DP, USB, and PS/2. Operating within an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, they provide a code resolution of at least 0.076 mm. Each package includes a single scanner, with additional accessories possibly required for certain communication interfaces, detailed online. The IDM mobile handheld scanners offer reliable detection of both 1D and 2D codes, including stacked formats like PDF417.

Available in standard or highly rugged variants with an IP65 enclosure rating, they are adaptable to various applications and ambient conditions. Featuring a lightweight, ergonomically designed housing and read confirmation through LED, beeper, and vibration, these scanners ensure intuitive and effortless operation.
