The FCI ZipLine® connector system is designed for maximum signal density giving data rates up to 12.5 Gb/s.
These ZipLine® signal modules have a 1.8mm column pitch and will support backplane and orthogonal mid-plane applications. The ZipLine® module have 72 differential pairs consisting of 12 insert-molded leadframe assemblies (IMLAs), each supporting 6 high-speed differential
signal pairs giving 84.6 differential pairs per inch of card edge for maximum density. By allowing a minimum of 1-inch card slot pitch these ZipLine® compact modules help address mechanical and thermal problems.
