SMC Series TU Compressed Air Pipe, 6.5mm Inside Diameter, 20m Length - TU1065C-20

This compressed Air pipe provides a clear, flexible conduit for conveying compressed Air and water in industrial settings. Constructed from polyurethane, it is supplied as a continuous 20 m length and is intended for use in automation, electrical, electronics and mechanical environments where visible flow and material resilience are required.

Features & Benefits

• Withstands up to 0.8 MPa to support moderate-pressure systems
• Rated for continuous use from -20°C to 60°C for varied climates
• Clear material permits Visual inspection of fluid flow and contamination
• Polyurethane composition offers abrasion resistance and flexibility
• 10mm outside diameter for convenient connection handling

**Applications**

• Suitable for pneumatic tool supply lines in assembly cells
• Ideal for routing compressed Air to sensors and valves
• Used with water blow-off stations in electronics cleaning
• Can be used for secondary Air distribution in machine frames
• Suitable for temporary compressed Air runs during maintenance

How does the tubing perform under temperature cycling in plant environments?

It retains dimensional stability across the -20°C to 60°C range, minimising stiffening in cold conditions and maintaining flexibility at elevated service temperatures.

What inspections can be carried out without disconnecting the line?

The transparent wall allows Visual checks for bubbles, particulates or water ingress while the system is live, aiding Rapid fault isolation.

How compatible is the material with standard push-fit pneumatic fittings?

The polyurethane wall thickness and 10mm outside diameter provide reliable grip for common push-fit connectors designed for a 6.5mm internal bore.

Can the tubing handle occasional pressure spikes above normal operating pressure?

The nominal maximum operating pressure is 0.8 MPa, so any transient peaks should be evaluated against that constraint and system safety factors.
