Festo Black PE Air Hose, 8mm OD, 50m Length - PEN-8X1.25-SW

For reliable air and fluid transmission in pneumatic systems, choose this air hose from Festo. Made of polyethylene (PE) material, this tube is durable and abrasion-resistant, so it's built to withstand the rigours of industrial settings. It's supplied as a 50m roll, meaning there's plenty of tube for big projects. Plus, it's easily cut down to a shorter length, if required. This tube is resistant to hydrolysis, which means that it can't be damaged or deformed easily by water. Integrate it into your system using push-in or barbed connectors.

• Free of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which means there's no risk of toxic particle or gas emissions
• Bending radius of 35mm ensures minor twists won't impact the flow rate
• Operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C makes it suitable for use in challenging environments

Applications

• Chemical processing plants
• Sewage treatment facilities
• Food and drinks processing

What is meant by the bending radius of a hose?

The bending radius of a hose is calculated as the length of its inside edge when making a 90° curve. This measurement is used to determine how far an air hose can bend before it gets damaged or the transmission flow rate is reduced.
