RS PRO Filled Epoxy Stainless Steel Putty


RS PRO epoxy putty which is supplied a 500 g tub is a durable tow-part epoxy compound and designed for rust free patching, repairing and rebuilding stainless steel and non-ferrous equipment. Fully cured in 16 hours at which time the material can be machined, drilled or painted and is a versatile and cost-effective way of carrying out your repairs.
This epoxy adhesive for stainless steel is used for maintaining and repairing a broad range of equipment and provides long-life protection against abrasion, corrosion and chemicals. Unlike other kinds of adhesives and glues an epoxy adhesive can be moulded into any shape you require.
There are many advantages of using an epoxy putty, as it benefits from excellent moisture and chemical resistance, and is impact resistant. The putty has increased mechanical and fatigue strength and good electrical properties, and there is low shrink during cure. Epoxy putties can be used on a variety of materials, such as metal and wood. It has a long shelf life and no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). Metal epoxy putty can also come in stick form.
