RS PRO Adhesive Steel Acoustic Insulation, 297 mm x 210 mm
Dampen sounds and vibrations with these sheets of steel acoustic insulation from RS PRO. They can deaden noise up to 30 dB and reduce metal fatigue in vibrating components, prolonging the life of your equipment.
Each composite steel sheet is made from two 0.6 mm metal skins with an energy-absorbing, viscose-elastic polymer layer in the centre. This effectively reduces noise without adding bulk. A self-adhesive layer on one side also makes it easy to retrofit the sheets to your equipment.
Their compact A4 size makes these insulation sheets a useful option for smaller machines that produce noise and vibration, such as generators and hoppers. These sound-deadening sheets come in packs of three. For best performance, you need to cover at least 80% of the equipment's problem area.
