RS PRO Melamine Foam Acoustic Insulation, 1.25 m x 600 mm x 50 mm


This melamine foam acoustic insulation from RS PRO has an open-cell structure that gives it excellent sound-absorbing properties. Its wide operating temperature of -20°C to +250°C makes it suitable for a range of environments including process plants and vehicles. You'll also find it used in the automotive, marine and aerospace industries.
The foam has a thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/mk, making it effective at insulating against heat too. The product's applications include sound reduction panels in generators, boats and electrical equipment. It's fire-resistant to Class 0 under British Standards BS476 regulations. This means the product will prevent the spread of flames and assures it releases only limited amounts of heat in case of fire.
