3M Very Fine Aluminium Oxide Sanding Disc, 150mm Diameter, P180 Grit - 255P HOOKIT DISC 150 P180 6 Holes
Give metal surfaces a smooth cosmetic finish with this very fine sanding disc from 3M. Its tough, open-coat aluminium-oxide abrasive offers a sustained cutting action for smooth, snag-free surfaces. The hook-and-loop attachment contains no adhesives, so the disc won't get contaminated by dust, dirt or flying debris. It also keeps the product secure in tougher applications when more sanding pressure is needed. This disc is suitable for general-purpose, lightweight sanding jobs and removing stubborn coatings and primers.
• C-weight paper backing is highly durable for use in heavy-duty sanding jobs• Easy to attach and remove for quick and convenient disc changes
Applications
• Transportation industry• Heavy equipment industry• Metalworking industry
What's an open-coat construction in a sanding disc?
An open-coat construction uses less densely distributed grains on the backing of the disc to help to get rid of dust and avoid clogging the cutting edge. This gives you longer working times and increased productivity, even when sanding softwoods and paints that would otherwise clog the disc.
