This hook-and-loop sanding disc is a 2 in, multi-purpose non‑woven abrasive designed for industrial surface conditioning at high speeds. It combines aluminium oxide abrasive with a conformable non‑woven backing to perform cleaning, blending, deburring and light grinding on metals and alloys commonly encountered in automation, electronics, electrical and mechanical work environments.

Features & Benefits

• Extra coarse abrasive for aggressive material removal and edge work
• Aluminium oxide mineral providing Durable cutting action at high RPM
• Black backing with white font for quick grade identification
• Hook-and-loop attachment enabling Rapid disc changes during production
• Rated for operation up to 25,000 r/min for high-speed tools

Applications

• Suitable for light grinding and deburring of mild steel components
• Ideal for blending and radiusing edges on fabricated assemblies
• Used for surface cleaning and refinement of aluminium parts
• Can be used with hand and machine tools in electrical panel work
• Suitable for repetitive finishing in automated production cells

What abrasive grain is used and how does it affect wear behaviour?

The discs use aluminium oxide with a precision-shaped grain

this offers a balance of aggressive cut and sustained life on ferrous substrates compared with conventional non‑woven alternatives.

How is the disc attached to a pad and how does that aid workflow?

They use a hook-and-loop fastening system, allowing quick replacement without tools and reducing downtime during batch processing.

What Visual cues indicate the product family and grade?

The product presents a black non‑woven backing with white font to denote the heavy-duty family and the extra coarse grade for Rapid identification.

Can these discs be specified for high-volume supply needs?

They are supplied in packs of 200, accommodating continuous operations and reducing the frequency of reordering.
