RS PRO 2.85 mm Natural PVA 3D Printer Filament, 1 kg
Need to design complex structures with your 3D printer? Turn to this polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) based filament from RS PRO. Its excellent printability with low moisture absorption makes it easy to get high-quality prints when you use it with Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology machines.
The filament is resistant to oil as well as grease and solvents, so you can use it for manufacturing industrial equipment and parts. You can print with this material even if your printer is not equipped with a heated bed, as PVA does not shrink or warp much. Using a heated bed between +35˚C and +60˚C, however, can help minimise these effects further.
Since this component is cold-water-soluble, it's frequently used to create prototype moulds that you can quickly remove without ruining the casting. The filament is best used in printers with dual extruders if you want to create intricate shapes.
