RS PRO 3D Printing Filament
The RS PRO 2.8mm diameter natural 3D printer filament has PLA ultra-diamond printing material, which is a game-changing material using a completely new nanocomposite technology for 3D printing that gives this material very high tensile strength. It can withstand high temperatures and is a perfect alternative for a nylon carbon filament, and is ideal for printing mechanical parts.
Features and Benefits
• Rigid material
• Easy to print like PLA, though performs like high end polymers
• Nonabrasive and non-hygroscopic
• HDT greater than 100°C in non-annealed samples (125°C annealed)
• Fast printing and very smooth surface
• FDM printing technology
• Tolerance of ±0.10mm
• Roundness of ≥ 95%
• Specific gravity of 1.35g/cc
• Tensile modulus 6300Mpa
• Impact strength of 3.4 kJ/m2
• Melting temperature of 205±15°C
• Printing temperature of 230±15°C
• Strain at break of 3.2 %
• Thermal conductivity of 0.4±0.02
• Tensile strength at max load of 43.5Mpa
• Moisture absorption of 1968 ppm
