Grinding Wheels
A grinding wheel is an expandable wheel has been designed for fast and precise abrasive cutting with minimal effort, along with strengthened core stability for reduced vibration. It is used for various grinding and abrasive machining operations. Grinding wheels and other bonded abrasives have two major components-the abrasive grains that do the actual cutting and the bond that holds the grains together and supports them while they cut. The percentages of grain and bond and their spacing in the wheel determine the wheel's structure. They are suitable for use on a wide variety of metals, as well as other general-purpose grinding applications.
Grinding Wheels are a type of cutting accessory used in conjunction with power tools like angle grinders to grind stubborn materials like concrete, wood, stone or metals. They are often used in the building or construction industry to quickly and efficiently remove excess material, polish and smooth surfaces like metals and other difficult materials with minimal effort. Abrasive grinding discs are most commonly used in:
- Building and construction industries
- Automotive engineering and manufacturing
- Ship and boat manufacturing
- Metal fabrication
- Home DIY
