Bucket Trowels
Bucket trowels are mainly used in the construction and plastering industries for plastering and bricklaying. Their design is two-fold as the wide blade allows them to be used for retrieving plaster, mortar, grout or other adhesives from its container before the flat underside can be used to smooth out the adhesive.
Why are bucket trowels useful?
Getting all the adhesive out of your bucket or container efficiently can save you money and time by preventing you from wasting adhesive as well as reducing the need to mix a new batch too soon. It's also important in keeping containers clean before mixing a new load - if the old adhesive hardens, the new lot will also harden more quickly too.
Bucket trowel shape and components
Bucket trowels are made from a stainless steel blade. They have a flat base so that they're ideal for removing material from the sides and base of your bucket or container. They also have rounded corners which prevent the blade from digging into the bucket or container. They usually come with a soft grip handle for comfortable use.
