What are the different types of panel mount fuse holders?

These types of holders come in two main styles, rectangular snap-in or cylindrical tube screw-in types.

Rectangular snap-in holders are like a fuse drawer. They provide a quick and convenient method for mounting small fuses directly into an electrical panel. Mounting is easy, simply squeeze the retention clips at either side of the housing and insert them into the pre-cut hole. Releasing the clips securely retain the holder firmly in place.

Cylindrical screw-in holders are tubular in shape. They also provide a quick and convenient method for mounting small fuses directly into an electrical panel. Mounting is easy, simply place the main part of the holder into a pre-cut hole and secure it in place with a retaining washer. Fused can then be slotted inside the body. A fuse cap is then attached to the fuse holder body. Caps can be either finger grip, manual, or slotted.
