RS-232/DF1 Splitter
The 1747-DPS1 Port Splitter allows a single RS-232/DF1 port to be split into two RS-232/DF1 ports for connection to a network, and an HMI or Programming Station.
Connects to a controller’s RS-232/DF1 full-duplex port (via 8 pin mini-DIN)
Network port is initiate/respond for connection to various DF1 full duplex network devices (8 pin mini-DIN)
24V dc, 100mA external power source required for operation.
Prog/HMI port is respond-only for connection to an HMI or programming station (9 pin D-shell)
Controller port provides autobaud detection of 19.2 kbaud or 38.4 kbaud, and automatic detection of CRC or BCC checksum.
Configuration fixed at 19.2 kbaud, CRC checksum.
No software configuration required.
DIN rail mounting bracket supplied.
Uses standard SLC or MicroLogix programming cables
Certifications; C-Tick, and CE compliant for all applicable directives when product or packaging is marked
