This Phoenix Contact interface module lets you join two separate ethernet cables to each other, without the need for couplers or connectors. It has a simple screw termination and an RJ45 (Registered Jack) socket.
The component is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail with a simple clip action that makes it quick to remove or replace. To ensure your safety, it has shielding that you can connect to the DIN rail with a simple locking foot. It's also made from a durable green polyamide (PA) material that offers good electrical and chemical resistance. An IP20 rating means this product is touch-proof and resistant to large particles.
As part of an ethernet connection, the module can support speeds of up to 100 Mbps. Use it as part of your computer hardware or in network setups at home and in commercial environments.
