3M IDC Connector, Right-Angled, 1A Current Rating - 79 Series - 7964-6500EC

Need a clean-cut way to attach your flat cables to a board? Reach for this IDC connector from 3M. Rather than slicing your wires to ribbons, it sharply and neatly pierces the outer jacket to reach the contacts, creating a secure connection. The unit handles wire sizes from 28 to 26AWG, so it's widely compatible with commonly used conductors. Without cutting corners, it fits neatly into awkward spaces thanks to its right-angle design.

Features & Benefits

• Compatible with solid and stranded wires for versatility
• Copper alloy contacts are highly conductive for stable signal transmissions
• Broad operating temperature range between -55°C and +105°C for use in demanding industrial conditions

Applications

• Control panels
• Telecommunications systems
• Household appliances

What's this IDC connector made from?

The unit is made from durable PBT, so you can depend on it for strength, rigidity and thermal resistance.
