Honeywell Ratiometric Hall Effect Sensor, 6.6 V DC to 12.6 V DC - SS94 Series - SS94A2
This Hall effect sensor from Honeywell detects the magnitude of a magnetic field. It has low current consumption to deliver improved levels of energy efficiency. Its integrated circuitry produces very little noise and features laser-trimmed film resistors to provide increased temperature stability and accuracy.
The sensor communicates intelligently with other electrical components without buffering, for smooth placement and positioning. Thanks to its slim build, it takes up little space on a printed circuit board (PCB) and is completely thermally balanced for stable operation.

How does the sensor measure magnetic fields?
A Hall effect sensor converts magnetically encoded information into electrical signals. The output voltage of the sensor is directly proportional to the strength of the magnetic field in which it operates. The device is named after the American physicist Edwin Hall, who discovered that electricity and magnetism can work together to move objects.
