Kemet R46 Series
Kemet R46 series are metallized polypropylene film capacitors with radial leads of tinned wire. The R46 series radial leads are electrically welded to the contact metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. The capacitors are encapsulated in a self-extinguishing solvent resistant plastic case with thermosetting resin material. The R46 series is designed for use as electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression filter in across-the-line applications requiring X2 safety classification.
