3M Through Hole D-Sub Connector Socket, 26 Way, 0.8mm Pitch - SDR 122 Series - 12226-1150-00FR

Use this connector socket from 3M to link digital cameras to the printed circuit boards (PCBs) on computers. It features shrunk delta ribbon (SDR) contact technology with a compact 0.8mm pitch for use in applications where space management is essential. The connector comes with a full metal face, meaning you enjoy seamless transmission free from electromagnetic interference (EMI). It also has corrosion-resistant copper contacts that allow for a reliable connection. You'll find units like this commonly used in equipment that needs high transmission speeds of up to 850MB/s.

• Nylon insulating material for protection from electrical shocks• Withstanding voltage rating of 350Vrms for 1 minute to resist voltage spikes• Ground lock screws for a strong hold on PCBs• Wiper-on-wiper ribbon contacts for secure repetitive mating

Applications

• Photographic equipment• Security camera installation

What's the difference between Mini Delta Ribbon (MDR) and Shrunk Delta Ribbon Connectors (SDR)?

Even though both connectors have the same internal schematics, the SDR socket is smaller in size and delivers a higher transmission speed than MDR.

Shrunk Delta Ribbon (SDR) Connectors

These 3M 122 Series Shrunk D Ribbon (SDR) Boardmount Shielded Receptacles have a low profile 0.8 mm pitch. The design of these 122 Series Shrunk D Ribbon (SDR) Boardmount Shielded Receptacles includes provision for M2 Jacksocket screws available separately, see below, or factory installed for stock numbers: 770-9209 and 770-9206 .

Jacksocket Screws:

770-9212 : M2 for 0.8 mm thick Panel

770-9221 : M2 for 1.2 mm thick Panel

122xx-xx5x-xxxx: Non-removable M2 Screw Jacks installed

122xx-xxxx-xxFR: 0.76 μm Gold plating on contact area and Gold Flash on solder Tails

122xx-xxxx-xxPL: 0.2 μm Gold plating on contact area and Gold Flash on solder Tails

Shrunk Delta Ribbon (SDR)

The Shrunk Delta Ribbon Connector (SDR) solution uses the same ribbon contact system and polarized steel shell interface as used in MDR connectors but in a compact 0.8 mm pitch package without sacrificing transmission performance. The SDR connectors can be used to directly replace existing MDR Camera Link® applications.
